Fish and Tomatoes

A color composition created through the interplay of shapes, colors, and their relationships. In this still life, objects serve as conveyors of shapes and colors, harmonizing to produce an artistic chord. In this context, the narrative of the piece is of secondary importance, yielding precedence to the overall composition.

Moreover, the artwork is built on rhythms, which complicate the author's concept and enhance the perception effect. Rhythm is one of Trubin's main techniques, which he actively uses in his paintings. The author achieves intricate color combinations by applying paint layer by layer. And also, Trubin employs less common techniques in this painting, such as scratching.
